The Antibody IgG/IgM Rapid Test can be used for the qualitative detection of COVID-19 IgG/IgM in human serum, plasma, and whole blood. It is used for the auxiliary diagnosis of new coronavirus infection in clinical. The kit uses an immunochromatographic method for detection. The test card contains a colloidal gold-labeled recombinant 2019-nCOV antigen and control antibody. It also contains a nitrocellulose membrane with two detection lines (G and M) and a control line. The M-line is immobilized with a monoclonal anti-human IgM antibody for detecting 2019-nCOV IgM antibody. The G-line is immobilized with a monoclonal anti-human IgG antibody for detecting 2019-nCOV IgG antibody. If the specimen contains an IgM antibody, the antibody will bind to the colloidal gold-labeled 2019-nCOV antigen. The complexes captured by anti-human IgM antibodies immobilized on the membrane, forming a purple-red M-line, indicating that the 2019-nCOV IgM antibody is positive. This method is the same for the 2019-nCOV IgG antibody.
