The MycoGENIE® Aspergillus species Real Time PCR kit is a qualitative multiplex PCR that targets sequences of Aspergillus spp. : A. flavus, A. fumigatus, A. nidulans, A. niger A. terreus and A. versicolor Mucorales spp. : Rhizomucor pusillus, Mucor indicus, M.circinelloides, M.plombeus, Rhizopus arrhizus, R. stolonifer, Lichtheimia corymbifera, L.glauca, Cunninghamella bertholletiae and Mycotypha sp. This kit has been validated on serum, plasma, sputum, BAL, fresh and frozen tissues. It has an analytical sensitivity of 10 copies for the multicopy gene (Aspergillus spp. and Mucorales spp. rRNA genes) and < 1 genome copy for quantified genomic DNA.
