This product diagnoses 3 pathogens from one sample in a run, diagnostics of Chlamydia trachomatis, Neisseria ghonorroeae and Mycoplasma genitalium are performed. The PCR diagnosis focuses on the multicopy-sequence of 16S-rRNA for all three pathogens detected.
This product has a high sensitivity for detection of the porA mutant in neisseria ghonorroeae and for detection of the swedish variant of chlamydia trachomatis.
