The innovative Swab tip is created with precision scalloped surface nylon fibers that create a ‘cavum’. This design creates a larger surface area to absorb and help collect a large amount of specimen. The Allium™ flock technology refers to the unique ability of the nylon fibers on the tip to adapt to the direction the swab is being pushed/pulled, resulting in less friction and an overall more pleasant experience for both the medical professional and the patient.

The innovative swab is different for each specimen: nasopharyngeal, oropharyngeal, and anterior nare. The notched 80mm shaft, with no breakpoint, on the CavSwab™ Anterior Nare with Allium™ flock technology, increases grip and dexterity while also reducing the amount of stress on the practitioner. It is the perfect size for easy collection and rapid testing. The CavSwab™ Mid-Turbinate is specially designed for children. The swab has multiple age-recommended stop points and a removable stopper, the face of a bear, that can be placed on the shaft depending on the size of the patient.
