BIOSYNEX AMPLIQUICK® Helminths is an innovative in vitro molecular diagnostic kit that enables the detection of ten intestinal helminths from DNA extracted from stool samples. It comes in pre-filled microplates of master mix that are ready to use, specifically detecting Schistosoma mansoni, Strongyloides stercoralis, Ascaris lumbricoides, Trichuris trichiura, Diphyllobothrium latum, Taenia spp, Hymenolepis nana, Enterobius vermicularis, Ancylostoma duodenale, Necator americanus.

A second kit, BIOSYNEX AMPLIQUICK® Protozoans (Ref. 3150067) is also available that allows the qualitative detection of ten intestinal protozoans from the same DNA extracts. Intestinal parasite infections are a major public health concern worldwide, and the BIOSYNEX AMPLIQUICK® Helminths kit provides higher sensitivity and specificity compared to conventional microscopy, multiplex detection, faster results, and reduced turnaround time.

The kit is intended for in vitro molecular diagnostics use by laboratory staff only.
